The SIGNAL Framework
The 6-step methodology Visifly uses to measure, interpret, and build AI brand authority.
Six steps. One methodology.
AI authority that compounds.
Are You Visible to AI?
We test your brand across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews using real buyer queries. Most brands assume they’re visible. After the Scan, the majority discover they are completely invisible, not ranked low, not mentioned briefly, but absent entirely.
We run a minimum of 10 real buyer queries across all five platforms, producing a structured score that shows exactly where you appear, where you don’t, and how your visibility compares to your direct competitors.

How Does AI Actually Describe You?
Appearing in an AI response is only half the picture. The more important question is: what does the AI say about you when it mentions your brand? We have seen companies that appear in AI results but are described in ways that actively undermine their positioning, a premium consultancy described as “affordable,” a specialized firm described as “general purpose,” a market leader described as an “emerging option.”
AI systems form brand perceptions by synthesizing signals from across the web. If those signals are inconsistent, outdated, or misaligned with your actual positioning, the AI will reflect that back to your buyers, often at the exact moment they are deciding who to contact.
In the Interpret phase, we build a detailed map of how each AI system currently understands your brand: what category it places you in, what attributes it associates with you, how it compares you to competitors, and whether its description would make a buyer confident or hesitant.

Where Is AI Getting Its Information About You?
AI systems do not generate opinions from nothing. Every description, every recommendation, every comparison they produce is grounded in sources, and those sources can be identified, analyzed, and influenced.
This includes your own website structure and content, your blog posts and how they are parsed, your Google Business Profile, third-party directory listings, industry publications that mention you, LinkedIn and founder profiles, customer reviews, and external citations from other websites. We analyze each source for accuracy, consistency, and authority weight.
What we typically find: a company’s website says one thing, their LinkedIn says another, a three-year-old press mention says something outdated, and a competitor’s blog describes them in a way that stuck. These inconsistencies create a fragmented signal, and fragmented signals produce weak or inaccurate AI responses.

What Story Should AI Be Telling About Your Brand?
Once we know how AI currently describes you and where it is getting that information, we design the narrative it should be telling instead. This is not a content brief or a keyword list, it is a strategic architecture for how your brand should be understood by AI systems.
The Narrate phase covers entity definition: the precise language that should consistently describe who you are, what you do, who you serve, and what makes you different. It covers content structure, schema markup recommendations, and authority signal design, the external narrative elements that reinforce your brand identity across every AI system that matters.
The output is not a list of things to fix. It is a coherent strategic roadmap that gives your brand a single, consistent, authoritative presence.

How Do You Build Signals That AI Systems Trust?
Having a roadmap is not enough, execution order matters. Some signals take weeks to propagate through AI systems, others take months. Some actions unlock multiple improvements simultaneously, others are high effort for minimal return.
In the Amplify phase, we sequence your action plan based on impact speed and effort level, so you are always working on the highest-leverage activity first. This covers citation building, structured data implementation, content creation priorities, and founder authority strategy, how to position the person behind the brand as a recognized voice in the space, because AI systems increasingly cite individuals, not just companies.
Every recommendation comes with a clear rationale: why this action, why now, and what improvement you should expect to see when we run the Loop.

Is It Working, And What Do You Do Next?
AI visibility is not a project you complete. It is a position you build and maintain. We retest your brand at 30, 60, and 90 days using the same query set from the Scan, giving you a direct before-and-after comparison that shows exactly what has changed.
The Loop measures three things: whether your AI Visibility Score has improved across platforms, whether your AI Brand Perception has shifted toward your intended positioning, and how your competitive position has changed relative to the brands you are up against.
For clients who want continuous AI authority management, not just a one-time analysis, the Loop becomes the foundation of an ongoing engagement. We monitor, retest, refine, and advise on a monthly basis, ensuring that as AI systems evolve and your market shifts, your brand remains the one they recommend.

Ready to See Where You Stand?
Most brands discover they are invisible to AI at the exact moment a buyer is searching for them. The SIGNAL Framework shows you where you are, why, and what to do next.
